Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Çengeling is a Turkish crossword puzzle game. You can play levels, track progress, use hints, practice vocabulary in Mini Pratik, watch optional rewarded ads, and unlock Pro or Plus features through in-app purchases.

This Privacy Policy explains what information the app processes, how advertising and purchases work, and how you can manage or delete data stored on your device.

2. Information We Collect

Çengeling does not require an account, email address, or username to play. The app does not operate its own user profile server for gameplay.

This game data is stored with on-device persistence (AsyncStorage). It is not uploaded to a Çengeling game backend for syncing across devices.

4. Advertising and Google AdMob

Çengeling uses Google AdMob to show advertisements, including optional rewarded ads that can grant in-game benefits (for example additional hints).

AdMob and related Google advertising services may collect and process information described in Google’s policies, including device identifiers, approximate location derived from IP address, interaction data, and diagnostic data needed to deliver and measure ads.

5. Personalized Advertising and Consent

Where required, Çengeling presents a consent experience through Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) so you can choose how ads are personalized.

On iOS, the app may also request tracking permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework when applicable.

Your choices affect whether personalized advertising is enabled. You can also change advertising / tracking preferences in your device system settings and, where available, revisit consent options exposed by the Google UMP flow.

6. In-App Purchases and Apple StoreKit / Google Play Billing

Optional Pro and Plus unlocks are sold as in-app purchases. On iOS, purchases and restore flows use StoreKit through the app’s purchase integration. On Android, purchases use Google Play Billing.

Apple / Google process payment information under their own terms. Çengeling receives confirmation of purchase or restore status and stores local entitlement state so purchased features remain available on that installation.

Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy. Çengeling does not control third-party dashboards beyond the configuration shipped in the app.

8. Data Storage and Security

Local game data remains on your device. Advertising and purchase providers apply their own security controls for data they process.

No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. We take reasonable steps appropriate for a mobile game that primarily stores progress locally, but you should also protect access to your device.

9. Data Retention and Deletion

Local game progress, statistics, hint balances, Mini Pratik history, theme preference, and local purchase entitlement markers remain until you clear app data, uninstall the app, or otherwise remove the app’s storage on the device.

Uninstalling Çengeling removes the app’s local storage on that device. It does not automatically delete advertising or purchase records held by Google or Apple under their retention rules.

Because Çengeling does not operate a synced account for crossword progress, there is no separate “delete account on our servers” flow for game saves.

10. Children’s Privacy

Çengeling is a general-audience crossword game and is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for the purpose of building child profiles.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing of personal data, and to object to personalized advertising.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app’s features, SDKs, or legal requirements change. The document date at the top of this page will be revised when material updates are published. Continued use of the app after an update means you should review the revised policy.
